What is an Advisory Board and what are 'Course Reviews'? An Advisory Board (member) is one who is a potential employer of course/program graduates, a local business, an educator; industry, labor, management or other community agency knowledgeable about the program area they are reviewing. What does an Advisory Board Member do? Advisory Board Members reviewed the proposed curriculum and acted as consultants matters pertaining to the curriculum. In their review of the curriculum, each member of the Advisory Board attests that she or he has reviewed the curriculum and states whether or not they have found the curriculum meets industry standards. Advisory Board Members were encouraged to make appropriate recommendations to the course for modification of the curriculum offered, should they feel it was lacking in any area of curriculum, given their expertise in the subject area.
The following links will provide you with some Advisory Board reviews of the MTPractice Transcription Training Course and the MTP Individual Training Modules. These reviews encompass a thorough review of the MTPractice accompanying printed books/matter and the recorded MTPractice Transcription Training cassette materials. Should you have any questions, these should be directed to info@mtpractice.com rather than contacting any board members directly and for that reason, some names have been blanked out by MTPractice with the reviews been protected with an imbedded vertical line. Thank you in advance for your consideration of these medical professionals.
